° High technology of the IPS panel
The monitor boasts a triple winning combination: high resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) pixels, maximum contrast ratio of 2000:1 and stable brightness up to maximum values of 350 cd/m².
That is to say: the outlines are distinct, the graphics are brilliant, the images are detailed and sharp.
Thanks to the IPS technology panel with LED backlighting, chromaticity and brightness remain stable from every perspective.
° Color management
An image is only perfect if the colors are also perfect. EIZO monitors have a color table (LUT) of at least 10 bits.
In this way, color information can be assigned more precisely and accurately than on a monitor with an 8-bit color table.
The transitions will be very fine and the range of colors available will be much wider.
In addition, it is also possible to make an individual setting, for example, of the white point from 4000 to 10 000 Kelvin (K) in steps of 500 K, without any loss of quality.
° Overdrive rapid image transition
The overdrive function accelerates response times so that gray-to-gray transitions occur in an average of 5 ms.

° USB-C port

° LAN input
If your computer or laptop does not have an Ethernet port, but you need to connect it to the network, simply connect the EV2740X monitor to the computer using the USB cable to access the network signal.
A truly simple solution that does not require the use of an adapter to connect to the internet and allows you to exploit the maximum network speed via cable, for example, to conduct video conferences.
As a network device, the monitor has its own MAC address.
Alternatively, the "EIZO MAC Address Clone Utility" software for Windows can temporarily assign the connected PC's MAC address to the monitor.
This allows authenticated PCs to access the network through the monitor.
° KVM switches
The EV2740X monitor offers a KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch via the upstream USB ports that connects the mouse and keyboard to the currently active computer.
In this way, desktop and laptop PCs or computers in the office and at home can be operated with the same combination of monitor, mouse and keyboard.
