Who we are

Our history

It all began in Bologna in December 1992, when three of us decided to open a shop in the professional video field, bringing together the commercial experience each of us had gained, including within national distribution companies.

At first the business focused on supplying video and audiovisual production equipment locally, but in the early 2000s it expanded across the whole country, thanks to the decision to embrace e-commerce.

The business was later extended to the rental of video production equipment and to audiovisual services for events and shows.

In 2007 turnover grew beyond 10 million euros and the staff rose to 18 people: time to move house, and new premises were bought with the room the growing workload required.

The following years saw Adcom working to sharpen its commercial effort, but above all to build lasting customer relationships founded on trust, integrity and business ethics.

The B2B distribution of video equipment also grew, both as exclusive distributor and for major brands, on foreign markets as well.

In 2018 turnover reached 20 million euros and the staff rose to 31 people; the decision was taken to move to the current headquarters, operational since September 2019, with generous space for the showroom and training room, a shooting studio and new logistics able to handle an ever larger flow of equipment.

What we do

Sales

Adcom supplies professional and broadcast video equipment such as cameras, lenses, recorders, video editing systems, lighting, tripods and related accessories, carrying the leading brands: Sony, Panasonic, Canon, JVC, Blackmagic, Swit, Hollyland, Sennheiser, Nec and many others.

Adcom is also one of the most active suppliers of audiovisual presentation equipment for education, training and corporate presentations.

Our headquarters house a showroom of more than 400 sqm where the entire product range can be assessed, handled and tried out, designed also to evaluate how those products work within production control systems, web TV, streaming systems and IP video workflows.

System integration

Adcom specialises in fully equipped turnkey installations for conference centres, meeting rooms, multimedia classrooms and any other facility where communication is strategically important. We also act as system integrator for the design and construction of complex broadcast systems and television applications.

Rental

If your aim is not to buy but simply to rent, our Rental department has the answer. Adcom holds equipment for services throughout Italy and abroad, for corporate communication with computer projection, Artwall and LEDwall for large events.
