Precise color management
An image is only perfect if the colors are perfect too.
EIZO monitors have a color look-up table (LUT) of at least 10 bits.
This allows color information to be assigned more precisely and accurately than on a monitor with an 8-bit look-up table.
Transitions will be extremely fine, and the available color gamut will be much wider.
Additionally, it is also possible to make custom settings, for example, the white point from 4000 to 10000 Kelvin (K) in 500 K increments, without any loss of quality.
Flicker-free
To reduce eye strain, EIZO has developed a hybrid technology to control the monitor's backlighting. This combines the advantages of PWM (pulse-width modulation) with DC (direct current) control.
PWM control uses much higher frequencies than standard PWM methods.
The result: consistently sharp, high-quality images and maximum color stability.
The advantage: perfect viewing without flickering or glare.
Thanks to DC control, the brightness level can also be reduced to 1% in dark rooms.
