Description
Eizo Monitor FlexScan 60.5 cm (23.8") 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 16:9 - BlackThe USB-C port is extremely versatile and offers many benefits: from connecting to external monitors, to charging the battery and transferring data and videos.
Through a single cable, the EV2490 model can be connected to your laptop and also allows you to drive peripherals.
The monitor serves as a universal dock with less cable clutter.
Particularly useful and convenient for agile working between the office workstation and the one at home.
And USB-C technology also allows you to quickly power and charge laptops, tablets and phones at up to 70W.
Ultra-thin bezel or frameless monitors are ideal for multi-screen setups.
The series connection can be implemented using Daisy chain mode via the USB-C port, connecting multiple EV2490 screens in series.
For the last screen of the cascade connection you can opt for the cheaper EV2480 model which is almost identical to the EV2490 model, except for having the downstream USB-C port, LAN and KVM switch which in this configuration are however superfluous.
If your computer or laptop does not have an Ethernet port, but you need to connect it to the network, simply connect the EV2490 monitor to the computer using the USB cable to access the network signal.
A truly simple solution that does not require the use of an adapter to connect to the internet and allows you to exploit the maximum network speed via cable, for example, to conduct video conferences.
As a network device, the monitor has its own MAC address.
Alternatively, the "EIZO MAC Address Clone Utility" software for Windows can temporarily assign the connected PC's MAC address to the monitor.
This allows authenticated PCs to access the network through the monitor.
° KVM switches
Controlling multiple shared computers with a single keyboard and mouse has never been easier.
The EV2490 monitor offers a KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch via the upstream USB ports that connects the mouse and keyboard to the currently active computer.
In this way, desktop and laptop PCs or computers in the office and at home can be operated with the same combination of monitor, mouse and keyboard.
This saves hardware, reduces the number of cables and makes your workflow smoother.
