Wide gamut
To fully utilize the color spectrum of digital cameras, the monitor should ideally feature a very wide color gamut.
A limited color gamut can otherwise compromise the accurate display of saturated hues on the monitor.
The CG3100X model with an IPS panel is capable of covering the entire Adobe RGB color space and almost the entire ISO-Coated V2 CMYK printing working space (97%), preserving the rich hues offered by modern cameras without loss of information and simulating the print result through the monitor (soft proof).
The CG3100X covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space used in the film industry and also supports the Rec. 2020 standard.
True Black
The CG3100X's innovative True Black technology maintains highly contrasting dark tones even in dark environments, delivering extremely saturated and intense colors.
The CG series is specially equipped with a so-called Retardation Film that allows for maximum black level visibility even from extremely angled positions, without loss of quality.
24-bit LUT and 10-bit mode
The CG3100X's 3D color look-up table (Look-Up Table) supports 24-bit color depth and is capable of Render billions of colors.
This greatly increases the number of colors available while simultaneously preventing posterization or banding effects, distortions, and loss of information in unreproducible dark tones (clipping) or in highly saturated areas.
Integrated sensor for self-calibration
The integrated sensor ensures the highest possible color accuracy.
Perfectly matched to the monitor, it accurately detects environmental influences, such as lighting, correlating the parameters in the center and sides with those of the entire viewing area, in order to achieve uniform and homogeneous rendering across the entire screen.
The calibration probe is integrated into the cabinet frame and is positioned on the screen only during calibration.
This helps reduce laborious setup processes.
The ColorNavigator software or the OnScreen menu allow you to set the monitor calibration interval according to your needs.
The operation occurs automatically, without user intervention.
This allows you to activate the Calibrate at will, even at night, without having to connect a PC.
Digital Uniformity Equalizer
Pixel by pixel, the Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function manages the monitor's tonal values across the entire viewing area, ensuring identical chromaticity across the entire screen without any fluctuations.
This ensures uniform and consistent light density and maximum color purity.
Stable Display
To ensure that color rendering, brightness levels, and other characteristics remain precise and stable even when the ambient temperature changes, the ColorEdge CG3100X monitor is equipped with a sensor that precisely detects the temperature inside the monitor.
An AI-assisted correction algorithm* recognizes temperature changes and adjusts the color temperature accordingly in real time.
