The Lindy HDMI 18G Audio Extractor enables real-time extraction of both digital and analog audio signal from an HDMI source while the video signal is output to a 4K screen or projector.
This solution is perfect for connecting AV receivers without HDMI ports, or 2-channel analog speakers to an HDMI source, but is also suitable for extracting audio and video to a screen that requires separate speakers.
This extractor supports the full 18G bandwidth required by the HDMI 2.0 standard to display signals at a maximum resolution of 4096x2160@60Hz with additional passthrough support for the REC.2020 color space which covers the wider gamut required by high-dynamic range content ( HDR), to display high contrast and true-to-life colors.
This device also supports HDCP 2.2 encoding which is ideal for use with the latest sources such as satellite receivers, games consoles and media players.
It supports multi-channel audio signals including Dolby Digital 5.1 via optical or analog RCA interface, to obtain an impressive three-dimensional effect which is the ideal complement for the reproduction of movies, video games or immersive music. HDMI High Bit Rate audio pass-through support allows audio files to be played back without any compression so you can enjoy audio content with the highest possible fidelity. The analogue RCA connection allows you to connect 2-channel speaker sets providing a versatile solution for home AV installations, small shops and meeting rooms where PA systems without an HDMI interface are frequently found.
