The Amaran COB 60d S is an ultra-compact 65W Bowens-mount daylight light with integrated controls, full Bowens-mount versatility, and an updated LED chipset for improved color quality and spectral reproduction.
Equipped with a dual-blue LED chipset, the COB 60d S has improved spectral continuity to achieve stunning spectral reproduction of an ultra-high SSI (D56) of 96, a 19% increase in SSI over its predecessor.
The improved color accuracy of the COB 60d S is also evident in its CRI [96], TLCI [99], TM-30 RF [96], and TM-30 RG [100] values.
Featuring a full-size universal Bowens mount, the miniature COB 60d S is compatible with the widest selection of modifiers on the market, including the 45x45 Light Box, Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern, making it an incredibly versatile multitool.
For added versatility, the COB 60d S can also be used with an umbrella thanks to the included tilt stand.
Small as a camera, the COB 60d S houses a powerful LED capable of emitting over 37,800 lux at 1 meter when paired with the Hyper Reflector (Mini).
Its miniature form houses an intuitive interface with an LCD screen and control dial that blends seamlessly with the body of the fixture, with the ability to adjust the light in 1% increments and easily switch between intensity presets.
Thanks to integrated Sidus Mesh technology, the COB 60d S can be controlled wirelessly via the Sidus Link app, giving you access to a wide range of intuitive controls and 8 lighting effects, including Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulbs, TV, Pulse, Strobe, and Explosion.
In addition to the supplied AC power supply, the fixture can be powered by the included dual Sony NP-F batteries or a D-Tap battery, which easily attaches to the V-Mount quick release on the side of the unit for ease of operation.
The COB 60d S is the perfect light for creating on the go and can also be used with its portable bracket via the 1/4-20in mounting point for the ultimate mobile lighting kit.
