The NTG-3 is the result of years of research by RdiameterDE engineers, to build a microphone with highly professional characteristics, aimed at the film industry, broadcasting and all those applications where there is the need for an audio recording in the environment.
Using a technology known as RF-bias, the NTG-3 is almost completely resistant to humidity, which makes it a particularly suitable microphone in all those shooting conditions where condensation can be a significant problem.
Its very solid construction combines with a very low weight (163g), a very resistant matte finish and a very low background noise (13dBA), all to make RdiameterDE the leader in A / V microphones.
When not in use, the NTG-3 can be stored in its special cylindrical aluminum case, resistant to atmospheric agents (rain, dust and so on ?) giving further protection to the microphone both in transport and in storage .
