The DWM-30 digital wireless microphone is part of the DWX series system, which offers high-quality digital operation, lower audio latency, and more reliable RF transmission?ideal for a variety of high-quality applications, including studio broadcasting, theater, and live music events.
Designed for maximum user flexibility, the DWM-30 does not come with a microphone capsule, as the DWM-30's interchangeable head mechanism supports Sony and third-party capsules.
Sony offers three microphone heads, the CU-C31, CU-F31, and CU-F32, plus, there's a wide variety of third-party capsules to choose from, so no matter your needs, the DWM-30 handheld wireless microphone is the ideal choice.

Wireless transmission and reception of the highest audio quality
High-quality 24-bit digital audio is transmitted and received within a specific frequency band that meets the wireless communication standards of each country. Using Sony's original codec design, the result of years of audio engineering experience, the DWX system delivers a wide dynamic range of over 106 dB, a wide frequency response of 20 Hz to 22 kHz, and excellent response.

The optimized mechanical structure offers an easy-to-hold design and is approximately 10% lighter than the previous model.

Wide bandwidth
A bandwidth of up to 148 MHz (depending on region) enables flexible operation with a wide channel selection.

High-Density Multi-Channel Operation
Ideal for large-scale productions, the DWM-30 supports high-density simultaneous multi-channel operation.
The 375 kHz spacing accommodates up to 21 channels per 8 MHz TV band, or up to 16 channels simultaneously per 6 MHz TV band.

Four Codec Modes for a Wide Range of Applications
MODE1: Compatible with first-generation DWX series devices.
MODE2: Prioritizes low latency while maintaining transmission stability and high audio quality.
MODE3: Additional signal processing eliminates noise caused by sudden pulse interference.
MODE4: Prioritizes audio quality while maintaining transmission stability and low delay.

Three Interchangeable Heads and Support for Third-Party Components
The DWM-30 operates with three heads. The CU-F31 microphone head with a dynamic capsule features a super cardioid pickup pattern and a frequency range of 60 Hz to 18 kHz.
The CU-F32 microphone head with a large dynamic capsule features a wide cardioid pickup pattern and a frequency range of 70 Hz to 18 kHz.
The CU-F31 microphone head with a condenser capsule features a cardioid pickup pattern and a frequency range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz. The DWM-30 also supports a wide variety of third-party microphone heads.

Quick-release and lock mechanism for microphone heads
A robust interchangeability mechanism with a 31.3 mm/1.0 mm thread allows for quick and easy microphone head changes.

Stable, encrypted transmission and reception
The system's improved digital modulator enables highly stable wireless transmission and ensures excellent tolerance to external interference.
Additionally, AES 256-bit encrypted data transmission and reception minimizes the risk of interception to ensure extremely secure transmission and reception.

Remote control of transmitter functions from the receiver
Using the digital wireless receiver, you can remotely control functions such as input attenuation, RF frequency selection, RF output power, audio low-cut filter power, and transmitter sleep mode.
Remote control of up to 82 transmitters is possible with the Cross Remote? function and the RMU-01 remote control.

Selectable RF Output Power
The RF output power level is selectable (2 mW/10 mW/25 mW) to prioritize stable multi-channel or long-distance operation.

Flexible Battery Options and Long Battery Life
The DWM-30 can operate on a variety of AA batteries, including alkaline, lithium, or nickel metal hydride (NiMH).
