Sony's advanced digital processing technology ensures high-quality sound with consistent performance improved response times. A new [optional] digital audio interface enables direct digital audio recording with multiple Sony professional camcorders and Alpha interchangeable-lens cameras via the SMAD-P5 Multi Interface Shoe Adaptor, bypassing A/D and D/A conversion stages to further ensure excellent audio quality.
Sony's highly user-friendly NFC SYNC functionality enables quick, intuitive and secure channel setting between the transmitter and receiver.
Integration with compatible Sony camcorders* (requires SMAD-P5 Multi Interface Shoe Adaptor) allows audio information such as an RF level meter, mute setting and transmitter low battery warning to be displayed on the camera's viewfinder. Via the SMAD-P5, audio signals are transmitted from the receiver to the camera without requiring a cable connection. The wireless receiver can also be powered by the camera, with synchronized power on/off between the camera and receiver for more efficient power management.
