The Axis Electronic-Assisted Stabilizer is the first Steadicam system to offer Volt technology for roll, tilt, and pan axes, providing increased stability and control.
This electronically assisted, 3-axis camera stabilizer enables the operator to directly control the framing of the shot without feeling disconnected from the camera.
Operators can create dynamic camera movements with faster setup times, greater range of movement, and a shallower learning curve than earlier electronic gimbal systems.
Time-saving features also include absolute encoding for the pan axis and the lack of a need to realign the sled upon startup.
The Axis supports up to 20 lb loads when used with the included A-30 arm and A30 vest.
The Axis system also comes with a Vernier-controlled XY top stage, a V-mount battery plate, a docking bracket with an arm hanger, and two BNC video cables.
