The Wevi Video Wave is a unique audio/video system which allows wireless transmission of video and audio through MPEG-2 compression by making use of Local Area Network (LAN) technology. Video and audio signals can be received through an output unit remotely from the Video Wave transmitter, up to 50 meters away!
The Video Wave has a variety of useful applications, including video assist, corporate boardroom, remote monitoring, government, CCTV, home theater, temporary installations, digital signage, and trade shows. This method will not only save money, it also the time and frustration fumbling with multiple wires.

O High Frequency Standard
The Video Wave makes use of 802.11a, a variant of the technology used by devices such as wireless routers. As compared to other wireless devices, this high frequency standard has many benefits. While most products function at 2.4 GHz, the Video Wave nearly doubles this standard with a frequency of 5.2 GHz! This boost guarantees no interference from other devices.
O MPEG-2 Compression
Video transmitted over the VW5 is output as MPEG-2. This highly efficient compression technique is the same technology used in satellite television and DVDs. The codec is well known for its small file size while still maintaining exceptional image quality. For added flexibility the Video Wave has multiple bit-rate settings, 14 Mb/s, 12 Mb/s, and 6 Mb/s.
O Universally Compatible
The Video Wave accepts NTSC, PAL and SECAM standard signals. Conveniently, the system detects which standard it is being fed without having to push a button, flip a switch or access a menu option.
O Link Multiple Units Together
The Video Wave can be daisy-chained to provide significantly more transmission distance than capable with just one unit.
