Kiloview N50 is a bidirectional NDI converter that fully supports all functions, using leading FPGA technologies, advanced AVC/HEVC algorithm and NDI algorithm. It supports encoding/decoding in one unit that meets all your needs for IP-based video transmission.
N50 supports encoding/decoding in 12G-SDI format of NDI High-bandwidth and NDI|HX2/3 of H.264/H.265.

Ultra-low latency encoding and decoding
In encoding mode, N50 easily converts a 4K 12G-SDI video signal to NDI or NDI|HX stream.
While in decoding mode, it will automatically adapt the NDI and NDI|HX format according to your needs.
N50 easily handles your NDI broadcast with a low latency of less than 80ms.

Professional-level color performance
N50 supports professional YCbCr 4:2:2 color space and 10-bit color depth (common 8-bit color depth is also available).
N50 provides superior color and image quality to meet the high standards of the broadcast and medical industries.

Built-in LCD screen and scroll wheel
As a 12G-SDI version of Kiloview N60 , N50 cares about user experiences equally.
N50 is equipped with a large color LCD screen that allows users to check the unit's parameters anytime and anywhere. It can also be used as a large counter and works together with the small counter on the rear panel, making it easy for all field personnel to check the PVW or PGM status in real time.
The thumbwheel allows users to customize settings, power on/off, set shortcuts and control all video sources with ease.

USB Extension
The N50 features USB 3.0 Type-A and USB 3.0 Type-C interfaces to allow users to:
° Access a Web Camera via USB 3.0 Type-A as a video input source for encoding
° Connect a USB video source to a PC via USB 3.0 Type-C
° Control a PTZ camera via USB expansion
Users can achieve unlimited possibilities with USB extensions by seamlessly bringing NDI technology to applications such as video conferencing, image processing and PTZ camera control.

Audio and Intercom
The N50 supports 12G-SDI embedded audio and 3.5mm analog audio encoding/decoding.
Supports extended USB audio interface (e.g. USB headset), to realize real-time end-to-end intercom between Kiloview device operators and associated Kiloview Intercom System (KIS) group.

PTZ Control
N50 supports PTZ control via USB over RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 serial.
It also adopts network control protocols (such as Sony Visca/PELCO-D/PELCO-P) for external PTZ control.

Power: PoE and DC
N50 has 2 Ethernet interfaces, one of which supports PoE(IEEE 802.3AT) power supply.
Just connect a network cable and you can easily access both power supply and network transmission.
It also supports DC 12V power supply and can easily power the device with a portable charger or camera battery.

TF Storage
N50 offers TF storage extension that makes it easy to record NDI video encoding directly to a TF card (local recording supports MOV format.).
TF storage prevents the recording process from losing video frames caused by network delay, network interruption or fluctuation.
