The SMPTE-2110 3 channel HD converter is perfect for rack mounting. With 3 channels of 3G-SDI input and 3 channels of separate 3G-SDI output, you can connect up to 3 3G-SDI video devices to the SMPTE-2110 with a single converter. All 3 channels can be sent over a simple RJ-45 10G Ethernet connection, so you can use standard, low cost CAT-6 Ethernet cables. This model also includes a reference video output synchronized with PTP clock, and there is a front panel LCD for monitoring.

They can also re-synchronize SDI inputs to a common PTP clock or lock external devices to the reference output, which is also generated by the PTP clock.
Blackmagic 2110 IP products support SMPTE-2110-20 for uncompressed video, SMPTE-2110-21 for traffic mode and timing, SMPTE-2110-30 for audio and SMPTE-2110-40 for ancillary data.
