Sony FE 24-50mm f/2.8 G Lens, Full-Frame, Autofocus, filter 67mm (Sony E)
Unlock the full potential of your camera body with the advanced technology of this compact, full-frame F2.8 standard zoom lens.
The 24-50mm focal length range is ideal for everyday use.
The outstanding resolution and bokeh characteristic of the G Lens series are available across the entire zoom range, while precision AF ensures fast, sharp focusing.
° Sharpness and definition at all focal lengths
Four aspherical elements and two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements deliver high resolution throughout the 24-50mm zoom range.
Flare, ghosting, and chromatic aberration are minimized, while the 11-blade circular F2.8 aperture produces the beautiful bokeh associated with the G Lens series.
Maximum magnification is 0.3x (AF) / 0.33x (MF), with a minimum focusing distance of 0.19m (AF) / 0.18m (MF) at the wide-angle setting, enabling stunning close-ups.
Featuring four aspherical elements and a fast F2.8 maximum aperture within an optical design that delivers extraordinary imaging performance, this innovative lens measures just 74.8mm in diameter and 92.3mm in length.
The use of engineering plastics for certain components enhances durability and reduces weight to just 440g, improving mobility and reducing strain during long shooting sessions.
° AF that maximizes high-performance camera capabilities
Two linear motors and a precision control system deliver fast, accurate focusing on any subject. Tracking performance is excellent, rivaling Sony's high-end a9 III model at up to 120 fps.
Precise, silent autofocus is acquired and maintained even during high-frame-rate video recording at 4K 120p or FHD 240p.
Precise, silent AF and an F2.8 aperture in a compact, lightweight zoom make it ideal for video.
° Top-tier stabilization
With minimal shift in the center of gravity, it is ideal for gimbal or drone mounting.
Thanks to built-in Active Mode stabilization, it delivers stable wide-angle handheld footage while walking.
It supports breathing compensation and metadata recording.
