Laowa Venus Optics 60mm t2.9 1.5X S35 NanoMorph Macro 1:2 Blue PL+EF Cine Lens - LWA60NB29PLEF
The Laowa Nanomorph 60mm T2.9 Macro is the first 0.5X anamorphic macro lens on the market for S35 sensors.
This lens overcomes previous technological constraints and competing lenses with similar focal lengths thanks to its super close focusing distance of just 24cm and its maximum magnification capacity of 1:2.
Thanks to the T2.9 aperture, the Nanomorph 60mm achieves an incredibly shallow depth of field, to obtain spectacular shots normally impossible without the use of additional close-up lenses.
Extreme close-ups
With a working distance of just 9.5cm, it is possible to create extreme close-ups with a high emotional impact.
Continuous shooting from macro to infinity
Using an additional close-up lens means you lose the ability to focus to infinity and you can't switch between different levels of macro effects.
A lens like the Nanomorph 60mm Macro, on the other hand, maintains the ability to focus to infinity, allowing directors to shoot continuous shots by moving the focus point from the minimum distance of 24cm to infinity.
This offers the versatility needed to create surprising and narrative-functional camera movements.
Innovative Macro 0.5X Anamorphic capability
A ratio of 0.5x means that the object larger than 10cm on the sensor would be 5cm, or half its actual size.
This function, which was introduced in the Nanomorph 60mm 1.5x Anamorphic, opened up a new avenue for anamorphic lenses, allowing what was normally impossible to achieve.
Compared to a 1.5x or 2x macro lens, a 0.5x macro works like a lens with an additional close-up lens, with the advantage of not needing close-up lenses with different magnifications to achieve different macro effects.
This makes it easy to achieve high-impact close-ups, thanks to the minimum focusing distance of 24 cm.
Compatible with the Laowa 1.4x Full Frame Expander adapter
The lens easily transforms into an 84mm Full Frame 0.5x anamorphic macro lens, sacrificing only one stop of aperture.
Optically, the lens retains its original specifications including a minimum focusing distance of 24 cm.
T2.9 aperture
The Nanomorph 60mm T2.9 Macro has a maximum aperture of T2.9 with excellent low-light performance and depth of field control.
This produces high-quality images even in difficult lighting situations.
The pleasant and soft bokeh takes on an oval shape due to the compression.
Constant 1.5X anamorphic compression ratio
The constant anamorphic compression ratio throughout the entire focusing range prevents shrinkage and stretching of the image when changing focus.
