This HDBaseT Cat.6 HDMI® & IR Extender with PoC is a point-to-point solution for extending HDMI® signals over long distances using a Cat.6 network cable.
It supports the following distances and resolutions using a good-quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP solid-core cable:
70m: 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit
40m: 3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8bit
Support for Ultra HD resolutions up to 4K allows for high-quality signal transmission, ideal for professional AV installations, home theaters, digital signage, public events, and conference rooms.
The Power over Cat.6 (PoC) feature allows a single power supply to be connected to the transmitter or receiver, ensuring maximum installation flexibility.
Power is then always transferred via the network cable.
The power supply is connected via a DC connector with a screw-lock to prevent accidental removal.
Bidirectional IR ports on both units allow for easy control of both the source and display using their respective remote controls.
Combined with the CEC feature that allows all commands to be sent from a single master remote control, this extender provides a simple and complete control system.
The RS-232 interface can be integrated with existing control systems.
