Thanks to the electronics integrated into the connector itself, this active USB 3.0 extension cable allows you to connect USB 3.0 devices at distances greater than the standard 3m while maintaining a data transfer speed of 5Gbps.
It has USB A male connectors for connecting to a computer and USB A female connectors for connecting peripherals such as pen drives, webcams, etc., to position them at the desired distance.
It supports daisy-chaining of up to 5 extension cables. Additionally, up to 5 cables of different lengths of these Slim USB 3.0 active extension cables can be combined.
The only exception is the 15m version (No. 43404: Featuring two chipsets, it can be combined with up to three other active USB 3.0 Slim extension cables.
The Lindy USB 3.0 Slim active extension cable is USB bus-powered, but also features a DC jack for connecting a power supply for devices with high power requirements or for daisy-chaining multiple cables.
The active USB 3.0 extension cable is compatible with computers with USB Type-A ports. Perfect for both professional and home installations.
The slim design makes installation in tight spaces much easier, an advantage over standard extension cables with bulkier USB connectors.
