With a compact form and smooth tone, the Sony ECM-673 shotgun microphone offers strong, clean output signal for event video shoots, indie film production, TV and documentary shooting, court room depositions, and more. Plus, its 7.9" long body is short enough to be placed atop a camera while maintaining focused directional behavior and keeping out of the camera's view.
The ECM-673 features a supercardioid polar pattern for excellent directivity and minimal noise at the off-axis sections of the capsule, resulting in intelligible voice pickup even in noisy environments. The microphone's wide, flat frequency response yields natural, accurate signal reproduction with crisp detail and minimal coloration.
