The Sony F-720 is a handheld cardioid microphone designed for general vocal and instrument capturing. The microphone's cardioid polar pattern provides attenuation at the off-axis sections of the microphone, making it suitable for use near stage monitors with minimal feedback. A contoured frequency response of 50Hz to 13kHz places emphasis on the frequency range of the human voice and eliminates noise caused be excessive low frequency rumble. A matte black finish provides a non-reflective coat.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing noise and signal at the sides of the capsule.
Dynamic Element
The dynamic element produces high headroom, providing high tolerance for signal overload.
Unobtrusive Finish
The matte black finish provides a non-reflective, unobtrusive coat.
