Sony UTX-M40 is a portable wireless handheld radio microphone transmitter compatible with the URX-P40 receiver.
The design and particular robustness is very appreciated by artists and presenters and is suitable for the most difficult operating conditions. The transmitter offers a 72 MHz bandwidth with 2772 selectable UHF frequencies.
Provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with an adjustable 5/30 MW RF power output and a transmission range up to 100meters (330').
The UTX-M40 features a dynamic microphone capsule with a cardioid pickup lobe that focuses audio capture on the presenter in front of the microphone, reducing unwanted background noise.
The transmitter uses an interchangeable microphone capsule design and is compatible with over 40 different capsules from various manufacturers.
The UTX-M40 is backwards compatible with Sony's WL-800 and UWP series systems.
