Sony Dual Channel Kit 1x URX-P41D/K33 and 2x UTX-B40/K33 Transmitters 566-630MHz
Built with simplicity in mind for cameramen, videographers, vloggers and journalists working in the field without a crew, Sony's fourth-generation UWP-D27 is a reliable on-camera 2-channel wireless lavalier microphone system that delivers uncompromising audio quality, while being easy to use and quick to set up without complex menus. This compact system is packed with professional features, including one-button NFC auto channel setting and auto gain functions that handle time-consuming frequency setting and mic level adjustments for you, so you're ready to shoot two people talking directly to your camera in seconds. It's ideal for documentaries, wedding videos, YouTube content, corporate commercials, hands-free interviews and more.
The UWP-D27 features digital signal processing for pristine audio and analogue UHF transmission with true diversity reception for reliable performance, even in challenging shooting conditions. Rugged and lightweight, this system includes two bodypack transmitters, each with an ECM-V1BMP omnidirectional lavalier microphone. It also comes with a low-profile camera-mount receiver designed to fit neatly on compact camcorders and still cameras. You can use the SMAD-P5 digital hot shoe adapter (available separately) to get a direct, cable-free digital audio connection. The UWP-D27 is backwards compatible with Sony WL-800, UWP series and UWP-D Generation 3 transmitters.
Professional features to speed up your workflow
NFC Auto Channel Setting Mode
Press and hold the NFC/Sync button and the dual receivers scan for the two cleanest RF channels (one for each transmitter). Simply hold the transmitters close to the receiver, it automatically syncs and you're good to go!
Unlike purely digital systems, the UWP-D27 lets you send a single microphone to multiple cameras for broadcast applications. Fast NFC communication makes setup for multiple receivers a breeze.
Auto Gain Mode to Prevent Microphone Distortion
Auto Gain Mode saves you time and hassle setting and managing the input level on the transmitter. It uses a limiter to help prevent distortion, which is great when the volume of the presenter's voice is unknown.
The +15 dB Gain Volume-Boost mode on the transmitters increases the microphone gain by 15 dB to compensate for situations where the microphone is not close enough to the presenter's mouth and the audio level is insufficient. Manual input level setting is also available.
High Gain Mode for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras
High-Gain mode increases the receiver's output level, allowing you to reduce the input gain of your DSLR/mirrorless camera for an even quieter signal.
External Microphone Input for Additional Wired Microphone
There is an external microphone input connector on the receiver to connect an additional wired microphone. Allows up to four channels of audio recording when using a stereo microphone.
Built-in 4-channel mixer
The receiver features a 4-channel mixer that allows you to control the microphone levels (up to four) and assign output 1 or/and 2 as needed.
High-visibility OLED display for indoor/outdoor use
Both the transmitter and receiver feature an easy-to-read OLED display. The display's fast response allows you to see operating conditions clearly and accurately in real time, even in bright sunlight.
Channel memory function for quick switching between 4 transmitters
The channel memory function allows you to quickly switch between the lavalier microphone and the guest interview microphone with the push of a button.
