The new Ambient QP5 series of mic stands use a purpose-built carbon fiber with the addition of UHM fiber. Thanks to this technology, the QuickPole S5 microphone stands maintain the perfect balance between lightness and strength. This new type of construction also introduces the QP5150 model, a microphone stand capable of extending up to 6 meters (20.99 ft).
Teflon sheets plus silicone-lubricated felt make opening or closing the rod easy and reliable.
The telescopic function works quickly and allows professionals to be immediately ready to go. A fine knurling and an extended length allow a perfect grip.
The thread is optimized for locking rings so that they can be opened or closed securely quickly with only a quarter turn.
A silicone ring keeps dirt and dust out of the lubricated part. An innovative way of tightening the rings allows the locking parts to go into place automatically when assembling or disassembling the rod.
The tip and the optional bottom have been specially designed to allow the insertion of an audio cable easily and without the need for soldering. Simply remove the tip, insert the pre-configured internal cable and connect it to the bottom of the shaft.
