A classic for urban photography
The versatility of a fast 35mm prime lens knows no limits. Choose the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4 lens and you too will have no limits!
Favored by street photographers and filmmakers for its perspective that mirrors that of human vision, the 35mm focal length is perfect for exploring life in all its facets.
From moments of perfect solitude to the busiest urban streets.
From full-frame shots to larger environmental portraits.
Unlimited creativity with f/1.4 brightness aperture
Whether you want to create visual compositions or tell stories, the wide f/1.4 maximum aperture allows you to always work creatively with ever-changing light. By shooting at maximum aperture you can achieve a soft bokeh effect, perfect for beautiful portraits with the subject in the foreground or for creative shots.
Low-light scenes can be captured with stunning clarity and sharpness, and you can use faster shutter speeds to freeze the action without sacrificing brightness.

The NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.4 lens is truly amazing for video shooting. Precisely control depth of field and bokeh and shoot optimally in available light.
The 35mm focal length has become an absolute classic for filmmakers who want to put the audience at the center of the action, and this fast 35mm full-frame fixed focal length lens lets you adjust focus smoothly and gradual without variations in the angle of view.
You can also use linear focus for controlled and precise manual focusing.
Fast and safe autofocus
Thanks to the speed and precision of the multiple focusing system, this 35mm prime lens rewards your patience by capturing the perfect moment.
If you shoot candid portraits in a diagonal composition, you will be able to focus perfectly on the closest eye.
If you're filming, you'll appreciate how quiet the focus works.
